Perspectives on Global Business is an intensive experience designed for high school students ages 15-17 wanting to explore the nature of modern business from risk management and fundraising to marketing and creating a brand-new business.

The world is fueled by business and entrepreneurship – both locally and internationally. Through case studies, interactive activities, and teamwork with students from all over the world, participants will learn skills essential to business, such as problem-solving, leadership, and communication. Students will complete a capstone project where they pitch their own business ideas using a well-formulated plan.

Classes & Evaluation

Each class will be held online for two hours with a significant amount of time dedicated to group work. Students are also expected to study and work independently on assignments and tasks outside of class. Upon successful completion of the course (including the capstone project), participants will receive a certificate of completion from University of Toronto, New College. Please note that this course is an enrichment program and does not provide advanced standing or credit for university courses.
