The International Foundation Program is excited to support exemplary academic achievement and significant contribution to student life through financial awards.  Students enrolled in the International Foundation Program are eligible for a number of academic and co-curricular scholarships in the program.  Check below for more information about the available awards and when to apply.

IFP Graduation Awards
(Arts & Science)

To be awarded based on academic merit to a student graduating from the International Foundation Program and entering the Faculty of Arts & Science as a full-time student based on their academic performance in required core courses.

$1,500 will be awarded based on academic merit in each of the following courses:

  • IFP010Y Academic Listening & Speaking
  • IFP020Y Critical Reading & Writing
  • IFP030Y Academic Literacies & Identities
  • IFP100Y Themes in World History

IFP Graduation Award
(Engineering)

To be awarded based on academic merit to a student graduating from the International Foundation Program and entering the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering as a full-time student.

$2,000 will be awarded based on overall academic performance in the four IFP Engineering courses.

IFP Leadership Award

To be awarded based on academic merit and demonstration of leadership skills to a student graduating from the International Foundation Program and entering any faculty as a full-time student. Recipient of the IFP Leadership Award will receive $2000.
