Course: Perspectives on Global Health
Group: Winter 2021
Project Name: Alleviating Anxiety and Depression in Teens
Team Members: Linda, Amy, Jason, Time, Iris
The students in this group explored the importance of mental health resources and the negative impacts of low awareness around mental health, with a focus on teens in China. By stressing the importance of investing in mental health to many stakeholders, the group created a 4-part strategy to alleviate the mental health strain in China with a focus on support and preventative measures. These strategies will result in a decrease in mental health stigma and an improvement in overall health country-wide.
