Where you live can have a big impact on your university experience. Our office highly recommends that all IFP students spend their first year living in University housing. Students living on campus have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Canadian culture, practice their English language skills, receive a variety of additional support and resources, and have the benefit of living with other students. Evidence has also shown that students living in residence tend to perform better academically than students who live off campus.

New College has three residence buildings: Wilson Hall, Wetmore Hall and 45 Willcocks Residence.
Information about applying to the residence, including rules and paying for residence are provided by the New College Residence Office. Please read their information very carefully to make sure you request housing based on your needs.
