The International Programs community is full of vibrant students, staff and instructors. But there is one group of individuals who don’t get the spotlight they deserve. This week’s post is about our unsung heroes. Meet them below!

What is your favourite thing to do at home?
Play fetch with my spring toys! Sometimes I have to drop them on Mom’s keyboard so that she’ll play with me. I think it’s her favourite thing to do at home too.
What advice do you have for your human?
Keep playing fetch! Everyone loves fetch! I don’t know what she does all day that she doesn’t always have time to play fetch. It’s sooooo fun and I love it.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be exactly like my big brother Fawkes. He’s the best. He’s so cool and I love him so much. I want to be just like him. I follow him around all the time so I can see what he’s doing. He’s my hero. I love him.

Working remotely has been hard for everyone. How do you stay productive?
I stay purrductive by taking frequent naps. For best results, for every 5 minutes of work, you should take at least 3 hours of naps.
What advice do you have for your human?
Sometimes she takes up too much space on the table where she’s “working” so she should probably stop that. She’s taking a prime napping spot. Also she should feed me more.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I would like to capture the beauty of this world through photography and show life through my eyes…woof!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

What advice do you have for your human?
Please don’t wake me up early in the morning. I like to sleep until I feel it is time to wake up.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to run a summer camp for dogs, with lots of activities, games, food, and treats.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I want to go to Mexico to enjoy the beach and to practice my Spanish.

What advice do you have for your human?
Yes, my human doesn’t realize who is in charge. Lately, I’ve been fed this absolutely awful turkey paste, but I’m only interested in huge chunks of chicken in gravy. I hope my human takes note.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a king. Then again, I’m already a king.

What’s your favourite thing to do at home?
I love the word – “Onaka suita?”, which mean “are you hungry?” in Japanese! So supper is ready!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I am still dreaming about becoming an olympic athlete.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

What is your favourite thing to do at home?
I’m still pretty new in this house, but I’m starting to get used to it, and find fun things to do. They include:
- Making sure I put my paws right under my human’s foot when he’s walking around
- Meowing at my human to get affection, then attacking him when he gives me affection
- Sitting and sleeping on everything EXCEPT for the two lovely beds that my human spent a lot of time making for me.
What advice do you have for your human?
He should really just learn to expect that I will attack when he gives me love. It’s just my thing.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A real Tiger.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a dog-food tester. I have eaten a lot of delicious things, and I think that I can help humans make the best food for me and my friends.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would like to go to a beach. I am not picky about which beach, but I love playing fetch and rolling in the sand. The only thing that I don’t like about the beach is when my humans go in the water without me and I yell at them. It is not safe for them to go out there without me. I have to keep them safe.
What’s your biggest wish?
I wish that my humans can stay with me and keep playing with me, AND I want to see my other human friends who I have not seen in a long time. I have lots of friends and I want to see them all!

Working remotely has been hard for everyone. How do you stay productive?
I take a lot of long naps – it really helps me to make sure that when it’s time to zoom around outside, that I’m well-rested. Here’s a pro tip: the kitchen tiles are the coolest place in the house.
What’s your favourite thing to do at home?
I try to vary my activities, but I like to chew stuff, nap with my ear in the water bowl, and follow my humans when they are eating or making food.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
FAST.

Don’t take everything for granite, and take boulder chances!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I was told that if I’m under pressure, I could turn into a diamond. I want to be a diamond when I grow up.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I want to visit Stonehenge!
